(2,971 posts)This is an unmitigated disaster for Trump, his campaign and the whole GOP. If it's a ruse, it's idiotic.

(32,017 posts)But Trump SUX at political strategy.
Yes. Thats what he SHOULD do, and, for that very reason, I doubt that he will do it.

(45,002 posts)A few died. But those that lived said they've never had such an ass kicking. It just sucks every bit of energy out of your bones. And it lingered for months.

(4,845 posts)differently now. I can't see him admitting he was wrong and change course on wearing mask, socially distance, etc.

(1,351 posts)He has infected a lot of people, not just himself. I think well start hearing stories of others who were close to him getting ill and that noise will drown out anything else.
Also, to reverse course on COVID is akin to Trump admitting he was wrong which would also be an admission that his previous approach WAS responsible for 200,000+ deaths. He wont do that.

Plays up all the conspiracy theories and religious nuttery about the bug being a punishment or a test blah, blah.
This is simply the grifter try to scam us and failing.

(53,776 posts)The last thing trump wanted was testing positive when he just predicted the end of the pandemic was in sight.
They tried to keep Hicks' infection quiet but "Bloomberg News" got wind of it and broke the story. That's the only reason why they fessed up.
