Deciding to turn them in election or go downtown to deposit them directly. I live in a blue state and very blue area. No voting problems.

I just couldn’t imagine living where they restrict your vote based on your ethnicity and your party preference.

I think it would count as a personal tragedy should my vote not count in this election.

4. Just to be clear, you're not in California, right?

Since California’s ballots don’t drop into the mail until the Monday, the fifth, you are either in another state (the likely situation), or you are mistaking the sample ballots which arrived in California mailboxes this weekend. I suspect it’s the former, rather than the latter, but just to be sure and because your vote may be the one that puts us over, I thought I’d check.

I voted in the 2018 midterms so I presumed I was still active. But I decided to check this evening because I haven't received my mail-in ballot yet. It showed inactive. I had to change it quick.

We’d already talked over the Propositions, so hubby went online today to check the endorsements and recommendations from our usual sources. We’ll be able to drop the completed ballots off tomorrow — and be done with it.

11. Mine was also Inactive

It was active when I checked about a month ago.

I tried to re-register but I got this error.

We could not find your signature on the file at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or you did not give consent to use your DMV signature. You must sign a printed copy of your voter registration application.

So I guess I need to sign a printed copy and mail It In.
