I have been watching the "Morning Mitt Romney" show on MSNBC....

Did Sheldon Adelson buy Starbucks? A bunch of Republicans sitting around loving Obama Care but calling it Romney Care and saying Mitt should have been taking credit for it from the beginning and how great it is!

Am I in opposite land? Is Romney really going to run on creating the Affordable Care Act?

By desperate people. This just shows Romney's tactics have bit him in the ass. 'Obamacare' was suppose to be a slam now he is claiming 'Romneycare'.

3. So Romney now is running not to beat Obama but to be Obama?

He's going to need a darker shade of spray tan. I thought the entire raison d’etre of his campaign was to repeal the ACA.

4. You need a score card to keep track of how many times Romney has flip flopped on any given issue.

He is desperate, he will be flip flopping on everything trying to find ground.

Why isn't the Obama campaign hitting Rmoney harder on being a flip-flopper? I think the line Kerry had about Rmoney finishing the debate he has with himself is excellent.

Voters are seeing that Mitt is a flip-flopper that they can't trust and they are reacting to that by favoring President Obama. There is no reason for President Obama to insert his campaign into that dynamic with a flip-flopper ad.

5. Sounded like Dead Intern was explaining Rmoney wasn't really a true BSC conservative...

despite how he tried to look BSC during the GOP primaries and did it in order to win it and had to keep running away from his Mass. record because of the BSC base.

Dead Intern thought Rmoney should have stuck to his non-BSC/moderate guns, embraced Rmoneycare and ran on that but of course forgot to mention the problem of the far right-wing BSC base would have none of that.

Dead Intern said attempting to appeal to the "middle" NOW only makes Rmoney look umm....reallyreallybad and voters suspicious (can't recall exactly how Dead Intern phrased it). IOW Dead Intern thought Rmoney blew it.

Seems the Republicans are in quite the proverbial pickle of their own making.

are responsible for the success of the Massachusetts plan. Romney signed the bill, but immediately worked to marginalize it. When Patrick took over after the 2006 elections, Patrick took an adult approach, analyzed the law and proposed fixes for it. One of the most important fixes was creation of a health care connector that served as a magnet site for people and companies seeking insurance products and those selling those products, the government evaluates and rated each product offering, allowing consumers to get valuable information and select the plan that was best for them.
