I was curious what freepers thought of fetal tissue for regeneron..I should have guessed

They have a very simple defense

"Fake News"

Fake FUCKING News

It's their ultimate shield against a fact based universe ..where there are no objective truths that are verifiable ..just personal ones they have faith in

I recall reading something from a couple who totally opposed abortion but "reluctantly" allowed a treatment for their very ill child that had depended on fetal tissue. If they truly opposed abortion, they'd have refused the treatment. But hypocrisy wins every time.

It is only the pro-birth nuts who care where they come from. God isn't sitting in Heaven saying, Oops you got fetal cells in your vaccine, you're going to hell. At least that is not the God I believe in.

Pathetic people, really. Just like those old anti-drug ads using an egg as an analogy for your brain on drugs.

This is your brain

This is your brain on a constant diet of FAUX news and hate radio.

Any questions?

First:"fact based universe" The SCOTUS ruled abortion is legal, is that a fact? I think it is.

Second:"objective truths" Objectivity is a philosophical concept of being true independently from individual subjectivity caused by perception, emotions, or imagination. A proposition is considered to have objective truth when its truth conditions are met without bias caused by a sentient subject.

It is evident here that the emotional is on the part of the poster of this statement. Who is emotionally attached to an unknown tissue in a women's uterus but totally unconcerned (hatred?) of children in cages.

Third: Democrats, Liberals, Progressives may have emotions which may be empathetic, BUT they are very far and away under the sway of Science, Science principles, facts and logic.

I say a significant FAIL on the original statement to be of any substantive logic or proofs.

Read it several times, too! Thought it was a line I have heard often from The Right! That we are somehow the ones living in some fact free, alternate overly-emotional reality of "situation relativism."

Got it! It was your words and I am totally in line with that!

It's so simple! Hardly a genius phrase, but certainly keeps them from thinking or having an aneurysm. I kind of wish I could block shit out that easily.

Willfully stupid is not me.
