I had what was considered a mild case of Covid-19, and I have since talked to other Covid survivors. The consensus and confirmed by what my doctor said the medical field has been finding is that this illness comes in waves.
Here's what I experienced:
Week 1: Began with vomiting once, but then felt like I had a really bad summer cold. At the end of Week one, I felt run down, my temp went up, and I had a hard time breathing. I assumed it was asthma and with support of both a bronchodilator and Advair, that quickly improved.
Week 2: I actually felt better. My breathing improved and so did my energy levels. I also began having a cough which I chalked up to my lungs clearing out since I was doing breathing exercises multiple times a day.
Week 3: The lung stuff hit. I started having a heaviness in my chest and ended up being in touch with my doctor. She said this was typical of what they were seeing with people recovering from Covid and suggested that mine was more pronounced than usual due to my chronic asthma. By the end of the end of the week, without improvement, my doctor put me on a low does of prednisone for only 5 days. Smoke from fires in my area also rolled in.
Week 4: I was still coughing, but feeling better. My breathing and coughing slowly improved. After Week 4, I was able to start moving towards a more normal routine.
Weeks 5-8: I still experienced fatigue and even notice I was having trouble focusing at times along with episodes of pronounced anxiety. I was still sleeping 9-10 hours a night when previously it had been 7-8.
Weeks 9-present: I'm finally becoming more energetic again. After I started looking at 9 hours of sleep per night as a new normal, I've noticed that now it's more like 8-9. I seem to be still recovering.
The there's what the President's doctor is saying:
President Donald Trump's physician said Thursday that the President "has completed his course of therapy for COVID-19," and he expects him to "return to public engagements" on Saturday. But there have still not been any independent sightings of Trump, who's been itching to return to the campaign trail with just a few weeks until Election Day.
"Saturday will be day 10 since Thursday's diagnosis, and based on the trajectory of advanced diagnostics the team has been conducting, I fully anticipate the President's safe return to public engagements at that time," Navy Cmdr. Dr. Sean Conley wrote in a memo released by the White House Thursday evening.

With a far more serious case of Covid than I had, he's still following a similar trajectory to the one I did. Of course with his cocktail of drugs and being in Week 2, he's feeling better. So let's give him a medical release! Let that clown go back on the campaign trail - still contagious - as he begins Week 3!

(1,178 posts)The optics they're trying to present is Covid isn't as bad as we've been told, by trying to show how quickly Trump has recovered from it. However, the over 200,000 dead from it would say otherwise.
