Columbia to the Clearwater river here in Idaho. The guys out there in boats every day when those and the Chinook salmon are running are mostly Trump voters.

Here the water flow on the Clearwater comes from Dworshak reservoir. Recreational interest up there bitch about the water being released and lowering the reservoir. It gets low enough that they can't use the boat ramps and some of the docks. It sucks for them, but they've never been able to stop it. If it was just a save the little fishies environmentalist thing, they probably could. The sportsmen and outfitters keep winning that one. Red as hell people on both sides.

It might be the same deal in California, or whoever Trump was listening to needs more irrigation water. He doesn't get both sides sometimes. He also tends to go with whoever got to him last. Maybe because that's the only part he can remember.
