People who have tried this have told me they felt much better after watching the first video, which is available immediately upon registration.
It is a win-win. Free, easy, quick sign up, and immediately available.
I usually read myself to sleep too.

(22,656 posts)It has rain, the ocean and other sounds that actually will lull you to sleep. I also use a sleep mask if I need to at night but mostly because I want to take a nap and it helps with that. There's also a phone app called Calm, I have used it but not as often as my sound machine and mask.
