Democrats turn out for Biden-Harris ticket at campaign's new Tallahassee office
Tallahassee's Joe Biden-Kamala Harris "victory center" opened on West Tennessee Street Wednesday afternoon, drawing the area's Democratic leaders.
Two of the state's top Democrats, Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried and U.S. Rep. Al Lawson, stopped by the "Ridin' with Biden" drive-through event for yard signs. It was held in the parking lot of 428 West Tennessee Street.
Both spoke in support of the Democratic presidential ticket, joined by Florida House District 9 Democratic candidate Allison Tant and Tallahassee City Commissioner Curtis Richardson.
According to the Biden-Harris campaign, "Victory Centers are locations in communities across the state where supporters can pick up campaign supplies, signs, and literature in a COVID-safe environment.
"They will not have to leave their car. Supporters can also sign up for a vote-by-mail ballot or volunteer shift to get out the vote."
