It's interesting how these people are convinced Democrats will take away their guns.

I used to work with a guy who was convinced Obama would take away his guns if he was elected. The guy was a shitty worker. Wouldn't take ownership. Spent a good part of the day on the phone with his wife and home-schooled kids. Anyway, after Obama was elected, from time to time if I saw him I would ask if the government had been by his house yet to take his guns.

would be a clue right?

How many decades have they been talking about how the Democrats are going to steal all the gunz.

6. Rational people would think that way. These people aren't rational.

Many of them look into the sky each morning to see if the rapture has started...and feel a little disappointed that it hasn't.

These people have assembled a highly volatile social construct that has themselves as both the victim and the hero. It's not all that different from a snake eating its own tail.

that if not for the NRA, Obama would have taken their guns. They always have excuses.

As for the suspect. He is homeless but has the money for high end rifles and all that wannabe soldier gear. #LifeChoices

The irony of committing felonies because he is afraid people will take his guns. Well no guns for you now. The state will also solve your homeless problem too hopefully for a very very long time.

Many in Mi. were talking the same talk. Some said they were holding secret meetings to "remove" Governor.

A Democrat was President for 8 years from 2008-2016. Did anybody lose a single gun??

Rhetorical question.

Some of the Obama teams had still been out canvassing in Southwest Leon County when the word went out to stop. Apparently this guy was the last one a team had stopped to remind him and his family to vote. They sat outside his house for several minutes, taking notes or something, before they left.

I was a team leader for Northeast Leon County but my name and telephone number were listed somewhere online. The guy called me, all panicked about what kind of notes the team in front of his house had made.

It took me forty five minutes to reassure this poor right wing nut job that they had NOT made notes about his NRA bumper stickers or the guns in the rack in the window of his pickup. He was terrified that if Obama won (it was about 5 PM Eastern time so the polls were still open and no results had been announced) people would swoop in and take his guns away the next day.

In fact, he wouldn't take my word for it, so I gave the phone to my husband who talked to him a while, then took the phone back when my husband had to leave for work that evening.

I felt so bad for the man - he was completely paranoid about a black man becoming President. I'm sure he voted for Trump in 2016. I just hope he has arrived at some sort of sanity by now.

I am sure there were many more like him. There were some in my family who were convinced Obama was going to shut down the coal industry.

10. Peacekeepers....

One of the men said they were misunderstood, peacekeepers protecting the rights of citizens.

Great. Then join a real militia--the national guard--or law enforcement. Playing soldier is simply armed gangs. If these men were anything but white, they'd be dead, or in Gitmo.

These are domestic terrorist anarchist gangs, fomenting sedition.

Lock them up.

And Biden's first step ought reinstate the assault weapons ban.

Adding the part about smoking weed for anxiety is kind of a 1950's thing though, millions of Democrats do the same.
