Anyone who is not insulted by Trump's scheduled "interview" this evening should

reconsider their priorities and the poor state of their self-image.

Dr. Marc Siegel---who the hell is this?---will conduct a "medical exam" and "interview" on---are you ready?--- "TUCKER CARLSON TONIGHT"!

I'll write it out: Jesus. Fucking. Christ!

"YOWZA, YOWZA FOLKS! The Leader Of The Free World will inflame your prejudices and thoroughly disgust you right after our guest geek bites the heads off several live chickens!"

and, assuming he's still taking daily full strength doses, he's approaching the stage at which termination wihout a taper could be extremely hazardous to his health - at least if it works the same way my daughter's steroid treatment did: 15 days on - 50 day taper.

Note: Dosing: Evidence to support an optimal dose and duration is lacking for most indications; recommendations provided are general guidelines only and primarily based on expert opinion. In general, glucocorticoid dosing should be individualized and the minimum effective dose/duration should be used. For select indications with weight-based dosing, consider using ideal body weight in obese patients, especially with longer durations of therapy (Erstad 2004; Furst 2019a). Hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) suppression: Although some patients may become hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) suppressed with lower doses or briefer exposure, some experts consider HPA-axis suppression likely in any adult receiving >3 mg/day (daytime dosing) or ?0.75 mg per 24 hours (evening or night dosing) for >3 weeks or with Cushingoid appearance (Furst 2019b; Joseph 2016); do not abruptly discontinue treatment in these patients; dose tapering may be necessary (Cooper 2003).

But - as to wanting to stay on it - he is vain enough about his appearance that he won't want to. Being on a longer course of steroids is hazardous to one's appearance.

My daughter's enhanced mood lasted between 6 months and a year, so he likely won't notice the difference right away.

And one cannot do that accurately without a full medical history.
Dr. Marc Siegal, do you have full access to all past and recent history?
Why are you putting your license on the line for political theater?

Dr. Marc Siegel, a practicing internist and Fox News contributor, will speak to President Donald Trump on Friday for his first on-camera interview since testing positive for the coronavirus last week.

Siegel "will conduct a medical evaluation and interview" during Tucker Carlson Tonight, according to Fox News. The doctor, 64, is a clinical professor in the Department of Medicine at New York University's Grossman School of Medicine. He is also a provider at NYU's Langone Health, an academic medical center.

Siegel specializes in internal medicine and treats conditions such as influenza, according to his faculty biography. He completed his residency at NYU in 1988 and was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1991.

He has authored several books and academic articles, including one published in the Missouri Medicine journal in 2014, "The Death of the Bedside Manner: ObamaCare Is Speeding the Decline in the Quality of Medical Practice."
