We as democrats have ceded this ground for far too long. A message of a vibrant rural economy, a diverse, safe and healthy food supply, food security for the American consumer, and some sensible changes in land use to capture carbon is a winning message and will help us electorally both for the WH and congress in off years. We need to talk to agriculture, and we don't need to give in to the white grievance/social issue arguments that we won't win in the face of fox news and Sinclair broadcasting.
