Nope, other way around Zing Zing Zingbah Oct 2020 #1
What would the point of that be? brooklynite Oct 2020 #2
Because I prefer Sara Gideon over Lisa Savage Zing Zing Zingbah Oct 2020 #3
In which case, why would you vote for Savage as #2? brooklynite Oct 2020 #6

Maine has made a great choice. The other states should follow their example HelpImSurrounded Oct 2020 #5

RCV is only relevant if you want to make a statement by voting for a minor Party candidate, knowing that it won't have an impact on your "real" vote.

And I always rank them all. Not interested in supporting an independent over the dem this time around.

If nobody wins in the first count of the vote, then there is strategic importance putting Susan Collins as either the fourth or fifth choice so she does not make the cut when the ballots are counted the second or third time.

RCV is just as relevant to eliminate undesirable candidates as it is to indicate a preference for a minor party or independent candidate.

We have a ballot question in our state about moving to "ranked choice voting." My vote was yes.
