Tired of my local NC Board of Elections

I am fed up with my local Board of Elections in NC.

I filed an application for a mail in ballot in early September and have yet to receive my ballot.

They keep telling me to call back next week.

I know of people that have received their ballots and they filed an application after me.

It appears that I will have no choice but to vote in person, which I am not happy.

Currently, I have cancer and am undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
I will not finish treatment until after the election and my counts are low.
For me to vote in person would be a risk with my health situation.

Hope I get my ballot soon.

Does NC have on-line tracking system? If you end up having to vote in person, check the rules, since you already requested an absentee ballot. Also, there should be a curbside voting option available, I would think, where they take your ballot out to you.

Not sure what steps you should take. Ask them to send another one or maybe just go and early vote in person?
