(28,860 posts)He is not well, and never has been since
announcing his diagnosis.
As doctors have explained, the drugs have
been able to mask the symptoms somewhat,
but they are also unproven.
Me, I think he started treatment too late after
a cover-up of several days, meaning that his
lungs were already compromised.
Knowing what we know about Covid, you can't
undo that damage.

(19,066 posts)He's doing stuff on the phone or posting short videos on Twitter. He's clearly not up for any real campaign events. Monday will come around and they'll say Tuesday or Wednesday is the day.
He's been off the campaign trail for 8 full days now, through the weekend will be 10 days of campaigning lost. Meanwhile, Biden is everywhere in the swing states.

it sounds like no one wants to be near him.
I try to process this like "if *I* were his state campaign chair, would *I* want to host him in my state?" or "who would buy a fundraiser ticket to possibly be exposed" but the premise is too much of a stretch...
So the closest I can come is "if Biden were that sick and I were *his* campaign chair, I'd want to tell him to stay home and get better."
But, of course, I probably wouldn't have to tell Joe that. (Dr. Jill would be on it, anyway!)
