Trump is talking to Rush:
“I was in not great shape,” Trump tells Rush Limbaugh. “I might not have recovered at all” without the Regeneron cocktail, he adds.
Trump went on to talk about friends who died of covid, suggesting things could have gone that way for him.

“You were going into a very bad phase,” Trump tells Rush a doctor told him.
After discussion of how Trump could have died, something that was never disclosed to the press, the Trump-Rush conversation has moved on to how dishonest the media is.
During the period when White House was talking about “mild symptoms” and describing hospital visit as “out of an abundance of caution,” Trump is now saying he “might not have recovered at all” without experimental treatment unavailable to public.
