It appears that Dear Leader is in a bit of trouble. Granted, I live about 1.5 miles from East Lansing/MSU so it's a blue area, but things are much different than in 2016. I counted 16 signs for Biden/Harris, Gary Peters, & Elissa Slotkin. I counted 2 signs for John James. No signs for Mango Mussolini. None. I was shocked because one of the republican yards must be big donors because they have the super-duper large yard signs that you can practically see from orbit. I remember this guy in 2016--trump/pence signs on every square inch of the lawn. 2020? None. Zip. Bupkis. If he lost that guy, he's toast in Michigan.

(7,504 posts)But it is way different than usual. Some of the wind has been taken out of the Trumpers. Strangely I can find no one that will wager a few bucks.

(34,109 posts)out here in the boonies of NE Kansas. Lots of Biden signs and my son tells that even in town there are not many at all for Trump. He has gone from the +9 I saw the other day to +3...in Kansas...today...wow!
I do live in a county that is purple to blue right now but still, last time it was Trump everywhere. He may carry the state but this county will not be a Trump county. Makes me happier than you know!!

(26,262 posts)When I lived there, I hardly ever saw a sign for a Democratic candidate - especially during the General Election. She said her subdivision has a lot of Biden signs. The house across the street from her is an exception so she's doubled down on her Democratic candidate signage. (I have NO idea from whom or where she gets that kind of attitude.)
There's no surprise that Biden, Peters, Kildee and Cherry signs are popping up all around my neighborhood. I've never seen a single GOP campaign sign here. I'm sure there are some Republicans around here somewhere. I know the man across the street is, but he hates trump*. He refused to vote for Hillary, but I'm betting he might feel different about Joe. I try to not talk politics with him, unless he brings it up.
Let's just keep our fingers crossed, and bottles of bubbly chilled.

(15,751 posts)signs than prez signs - they lean local red by just a bit.
Only 1 trump sign, v.6 Biden - tho only 1 Warner for Senate sign - he has a healthy lead.
