Trump holding event at WH tomorrow: "The Age of Insanity"

This is totally insane.

He is having a gathering in the exact same place he held a super spreader event two weeks ago to the day.

He is not even 10 days out from his positive test.

He refuses to tell us when he had his last negative test, not since his release from the hospital nor from before his positive test.

Add that to the list of charges.

On the up side, maybe all those repukes who weren't infected at the last typhoid shitstain event will have another chance. Such a shame this pandemic does not discriminate to target only those who are in denial and careless.

President Trump is planning to host hundreds of people on the South Lawn of the White House on Saturday for his first in-person event since he announced he had tested positive for the coronavirus, three people familiar with the plans said on Friday.

The president was expected to make remarks from one of the balconies at the White House to the crowd, which was expected to include people attending an event elsewhere in Washington staged by a Trump supporter, Candace Owens, one of the people familiar with the plans said. The event, which was first reported by ABC News, continues Mr. Trump’s pattern of using the White House for political events, as he did with his Republican National Convention speech.

Some in the White House and on the Trump campaign expressed concern about what the president might say in his remarks at the Saturday event, and feared the entire event would serve to underscore existing criticism that Mr. Trump has been cavalier about a virus that has killed over 210,000 Americans.

My guess is no one in the audience will be wearing masks.

Trump has developed a love of balconies. Just like the dictators and authoritarians he admires.

I'm thinking he can't leave the WH grounds because he's still testing positives and that would ban him from most cities.

This would be the most likely explanation about his lack of straight information about his tests.

While Trump can't go out, he can sure open the gates and invite all his white supremacist pals, the Proud Boys, the Boogaloo Boys, Neo Nazis, rightwing militias, and various anarchists. They don't wear masks or do social distancing anyway so everyone will be fine herded together like cattle in the meat packers corral.

With any luck Trump will host his backyard rally and infect many of those very fine people and give them the dire future that he escaped... So far.
