tans people. It is just a widespread way that many gay men refer to one another. No one is implying that the other is trans and that it is bad. Maybe it is more along the lines of drag queen I don't know. But I know all my dear gay men friends routinely refer to each other as "Miss"

and - gay men using it among themselves (as many of my friends do) is one thing.

But when it finds its way into the broader community it is a bit like white folks using the term n***** because they hear black folks using it in a friendly manner their own community.
