That mother and daughter on CNN just now. Wow it's scary to have a woman say she is a doctor

and then hear her say she is leaning toward voting for Trump is really scary. If she hasn't made up her mind whom to vote for by now I hope she doesn't treat any patients.

It is just mind boggling to me how many people would still vote for Trump and fail to hold him accountable for anything. That includes some of my former friends whose covert racism and sexism has been on full display on twitter.

SARAH PALIN! (obviously, McCain would 'come along for the ride' ) but her vote was based on her enthusiasm for Palin.

Since I really liked her and thought she was otherwise "sane," I preferred to think that she just hadn't been paying attention and knew little about Palin.

My mother was a traditional FDR liberal Democrat.

Yet shortly before she passed, she opined that she thought that Donald Rumsfeld was "sexy." Blood on his hands and sexy.

And no, she had her wits and faculties at the time of that opinion.

As a grad student, I did statistical analysis for my university's medical school. I honestly wasn't very impressed by the critical thinking skills of the medical doctors that I met overall. It made me wonder if money was their main motivation.

Democratic vs. Republican occupations:

Edit: And they repeatedly insisted on designing the studies wrong despite my warnings, and the results were usually meaningless just like I expected. But, hey, they were the doctors and they had to do it their way!
