As a child in England, Dr. Jane Goodall dreamed of studying animals in their natural environment in Africa. Little did she know that this aspiration would become a reality and grow into a passion that helped her become one of the world’s most loved and respected advocates for animals and peace.
I spoke with Dr. Goodall, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace in La Jolla today. She is in town to be the guest of honor at a dinner at a private estate Friday, September 28, 2012. The dinner benefits the Jane Goodall Institute, a global nonprofit that empowers people to make a difference for all living things.
