When the netherworld reclaims McConnell doesn't the Democratic Governor get to appoint his replaceme

Just trying to come up with happy thoughts to get myself through the next 11 days. Based on recent pictures Mitch should probably pack his bags for the trip.

It always surprises me that KY is so rabidly republican when it comes to Senate seats but they're more than willing to have a Democratic governor. It's almost like they want the benefits of dem leadership at home but they want to inflict republicans on the country.
