Right wing says The Ryan/Romney Chant Snfu didn't happen but Morning Joe says it did
Check it out.... Joe is gonna play it again on Monday to prove he was right. He's commenting like mad at the site.

2. When did Morning Joe go from Right wing to being our friend? Awful lot of reframing going on at
MSNBC. Tweety practically sounds like a Member of the SDS these days.

5. LOL
Here's what I think is going on with Tweety. He may know that this is his last time to cover a presidential campaign. Four years from now he may not have the good health to anchor a show. (Diabetes is a progressive disease.) I think he's giving it everything he's got, and returning to his liberal roots. He's not a progressive; he's an old-time Kennedy liberal.

11. Sorry to hear that about Mathews. Better that he should be on "our side" now, as he's an effective
polemicist and a lot of people find him appealing and he draws some interesting panelists to his show.
Personally, my brow is always a little furrowed while I watch him. He's a little too opportunistic and blended for me. I'll take my Irish straight, no chaser. |

20. Tweety has been kicking ass and taking names. Remember, Tweety is former Peace Corp as was our
Ambassador in Libya, Chris Stevens. I think Mittens jumping the gun and saying all the wrong things in this Benghazi incident flipped out Tweety out even more than he was. He had just blown up Rinse Primus on Joey Scar and is/was on a roll. He is like, fuck this shit, I am saying what I think for now on... Remember, he chose not to try for Senator in PA, and the diabetes thing is real so...
And I call him Tweety because we always have here (maybe at the late, "Crooks and Liars" first) and because he does actually look like Tweety Bird. |

22. Matthews has been great throughout Obama's term
It didn't just happen yesterday. I've been watching him everyday since 2008.
What I think happened is MSNBC figured out they could make it as the answer to Fox. Before Olbermann, and for a few years after Keith started, MSNBC was trying to be neutral but realized Olbermann was making them money. By the time the 2008 election heated up, throughout the primaries, MSNBC's rating went through the roof and they started leaning more and more to the left. I think Chris has always been a good guy. Yes, he's not a progressive but he is a liberal. But, and he was at his worst in the 2000 election when I vowed to never watch him again, he bought into the whole "journalists have to be neutral". I'm sure there are a lot of good reasons for that. You'll notice that MSNBC hardly ever gets any republicans on their shows with the exception of those it pays like Steel and Schmidt. Politicians won't show up now but 4-6 years ago they would come on (remember Bachman made her famous Democratic Congresspeople are unAmerican statement on Chris' show.) Chris finally said "F*** it. Might as well go all in." I don't think he sees this as his last election. He's only about 60. Not that old even with diabetes. |

23. he'll be 67 in December
Another factor in his improvement may be that his son is part of the hit TV series "Newsroom" -- a show that portrays what *real* journalism looks like.
I do see a lot of new blood on MSNBC lately, and that's got to be motivating, too. |

25. Yes, Chris Hayes is excellent on the weekends, and I'd forgotten about his son
I am sure that is a huge influence. Seems his numbers are up too but I admit to not following the ratings unless they are mentioned here.

24. Definitely not his last roundup! He is 66 but... He brags, with good reason, that he "made' Bachman
No, Tweety's rocking these days and I am quite happy with the set up we currently have on MSNBC. If Mrs. Greenspan, The Mourning Schmoe, Chuckie Toad and of course "The Cycle" is our biggest problem, these ain't so bad times. And I do love me some Crystal Ball and Steve Kornacki, S.E. Cupp not so much...
Now, somehow getting KO back without the KO issues would be Nirvana... Go Tweety!!! |

He is looking very healthy and vigorous right now. I don't know if malaria has any residual effects later in life, but he had that disease when he was in the peace corps.

8. Joe's not out friend, except in the "enemy of my enemy" sense
He's angling to throw his own hat in the ring in 2016, and he's not going to succeed with the Republicans in their present zealot-and-billionaire-fueled Gong Show state.
He wants "his" party back, conveniently forgetting that "He built it." |

10. Of COURSE it was "Ryan, Ryan, Ryan" otherwise Mittens would have had no reason
to try and change it... "It's Romney-Ryan, Romney-Ryan, Romney-Ryan, there you go!"-- even though the crowd didn't actually "go"... Mittens just realized he was making a fool of himself.

4. Sure sounds like "Ryan Ryan" to me.
In fact it would make no sense at that point for the crowd to be cheering "Romney, Romney".. because Mittens just said "wow that Paul Ryan is something isnt he!" It totally made sense for them to cheer "Ryan Ryan". Romney should have just let them do it for awhile and then joke about it... "Hey what about me?" Thats the way Obama would have handled it. Romney is complete idiot in situations like that.

that they'd toss him and put ryan at the top spot if they had the chance. If he was secure he would not have reacted that way. he knows no one really wants him and are just tolerating him.

6. They're saying it "didn't happen" because of the "There you go!"?
I'd wonder what kind of delusional dopes they were, but it's the Breitbart cultists, so this is small beans for them.
Romney introduced Ryan and there was an audible chant for Ryan. Then Mittens interrupted them to stick his name in, and there was a garbled, much less enthusiastic response. It was plain as day, but of course there are objections from the people who are trying to turn a lying drunk failed scriptwriter with a big chip on his shoulder into some kind of revolutionary icon. |

Breitbart edited everything, lied cheated and stole, so naturally his site accuses the "left wing media" (I'd laugh but it isn't even funny) of doing it.

When something embarrassing happens to your candidate, distract people from it. Don't double down and give the opposition more airplay.
