the irony of the Barrett confirmation.......

if Mitch had played by the rule he invented, and left the seat open, the Democrats would have had no moral high ground to expand the court. Even if Biden won the election, it is highly unlikely he would have done anything more than replace RGB with another left-leaning judge, and the GOP would have held a 5-4 majority with Roberts being the "sometimes" swing vote.

Now we have the moral high ground and the electoral mandate to expand the court and lock in a fully left leaning court. (Assuming we win the WH and Senate). So the court could ultimately end up MORE left than it would have been otherwise. That's assuming the rethugs and Barrett don't destroy the country somehow in the lame duck session by appointing drumpf emperor.

as well as his upper lip. He really must have fallen hard to bruise something that barely existed in the first place.

Which if they do it’s over it doesn’t matter how many millions of votes Joe has more than traitor it’s over, they win, they don’t care about the law.

As long as they prevent a win on our side in 2016 (Garland's seat), then they still get a chance to fill that seat. Consequences be damned. And so far, they haven't been punished yet.

Are daring enough to do this! Frustrating difference between Dems and Republicans is that the GOP is ruthless enough to push through their agenda.

No fewer than 13 SCOTUS justices. No drama.

Just smile, pretend we're listening and do every last damned thing they scream about.

That's what cold, righteous justice does. Speaker Pelosi is all for that. For the children.
