To my fellow Florida DUers, Amendment 1 is bullshit
To summarize, Amendment 1 proposes:
The Florida Constitution currently says, "Every citizen of the United States who is at least eighteen years of age and who is a permanent resident of the state, if registered as provided by law, shall be an elector of the county where registered." Under the ballot measure, the Florida Constitution would say, "Only a citizen of the United States who is at least eighteen years of age and who is a permanent resident of the state, if registered as provided by law, shall be an elector of the county where registered." This amendment... is bullshit. It's a useless amendment. It is a waste of people's time and energy. This amendment does nothing but feed into the right wing conspiracy theory there is wide spread voter fraud from undocumented immigrants. That is all.

3. no on all of them except 2
that was my take. The economic summary on 2 was republican BS, but the $15 minimum wage is long overdue.

4. Changes nothing. Can't see why even the most ignorant, racist GOPer would waste time on that.

7. Permanent resident of the state,
think college students. Unless they live in Florida year around, they wouldn't be able to vote.

8. That isn't a change.
The 'permanent resident' wording is already there.

9. I only see the first word, Every to Only changing. The resident part looks the same.

5. I voted "No". I would have voted "Hell No!!!" if that option had been available.
I voted Yes on 2, No on 3, No on 4, Yes on 5, and Yes on 6.

6. This one caused me to check out some newspaper editorials online. I couldn't figure out why the
amendment was even being proposed or what it meant. After looking into it, it was just word games. No thanks.
