Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) predicted on Sunday that President Trump will win his state over Democratic nominee Joe Biden in a close vote.
"I think the president wins Ohio, DeWine said on CNNs State of the Union. I think it's going to be a close vote. I think he wins by a couple points probably.
The governor said he expects the winner of the state to be known on election night, noting Ohios early vote numbers will be ready to process and likely will come in before its Election Day votes.
The first youre gonna get are all the early votes, he said. Theyre gonna come in probably before 8 oclock, and youre gonna see some big numbers there. And I think that will give us some indication on how Ohios going.

(1,725 posts)... I was posting here back in 2005 when I worked the recount for Cuyahoga county, prompted by my heroic rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones. Went down to the BoE every day, and I saw some of the evidence that convicted those board employees (counts "incorrect" at the bottom of ballot count pages). So I know it can happen, but ... I'm doubting it will happen this time. Different type of administration.
I hope.
