(1,665 posts)There are how many posts every day asking about impeaching Donnie, SCOTUSjustices, Barr, etc. etc. etc.? A reminder that 67 Senate votes are needed would be helpful!

(1,102 posts)We can have a proper trial with witnesses and evidence which will tar and feather the clown forever.
It will be televised gavel to gavel and people who are delusional about Trump will see the evidence first hand. It will neuter him to a great extent and reduce his power to cause trouble as ex-Potus.
It will also make it easier for state courts to convict him and his cabal.

(42,862 posts)Our challengers are fine. Incumbents always have an advantage. AND, some states will likely never choose a Democrat. (It's a simple fact that a New England style politician will NOT EVER be elected in Kentucky or West Virginia.)
I wish the voters were smarter.

(459 posts)Something a lot of further lefty Dems fail to understand. An elected who votes with us 50-60% of the time is better than an elected who votes with us 0% of the time. Incremental progress is the ONLY way we'll ever achieve change in this country because the culture of some states means they just aren't ready for more than that.
