Kinda thinking aloud here....
If the trumpanzees are wearing red to show off their support for trump because they are not permitted to wear official maga attire - would Dems who are voting in person tomorrow be "safer" and less likely to be hassled or bullied at the polls if they put on a red shirt/blouse because the magats think they are one of "them"?

(378 posts)I always wear a blue shirt. This time I will also wear pearl earrings. Maybe even a simple pearl necklace. No logos, just simple blue.

(10,054 posts)Now, I live in a blue county - but I posted this because I keep hearing from folks on DU that live in red areas that they are honked and hassled at red lights, their Biden signs are stolen from their lawns, they are threatened for wearing masks etc etc so I thought that maybe a way for them not to be terrorized in person tomorrow while standing in line would be to blend in in red, just a thought....

(203 posts)and all my credentialed female poll watchers are wearing RBG pearls. Their idea, and I think it's great. Here in godawful Indiana MAGA gear is not prohibited, because the law specifically excludes the "name or likeness" of a candidate. So although some local election boards have prohibited MAGA gear, the vast majority will not.
