Robocalls in Flint, Michigan!

Robocalls widespread this morning in highly democratic stronghold of Flint, Michigan. Calls say the “LINES ARE LONG, so if you haven’t yet voted, officials are holding polls open until tomorrow, and ask that you delay until tomorrow your trip to the polls”.

Incredible!

From the Michigan Dems, Attorney General Nessel AND Governor Whitmer. Hopefully NOBODY is foolish enough to fall for this.

They've been using it for years. Variations on the theme: "November 3 is the voting day for Republicans, November 4 is the day for Democrats. If you try to vote on the wrong day, you will be arrested for voter fraud." Yeah, it's transparent, but it as long as it works on some people and you don't get caught, the effort is worth the risk. All the misinformation is designed to discourage first time voters, naturalized citizens who may still be jumpy about crossing law enforcement, and people whose first language isn't English.
