Polling seems to work when Trump isn't on the ballot

Which tells me either there is some shady shit going on, or Trump is such a cult figure that he's getting all the white trash that normally wouldn't vote to come out in droves cause he's "one of them." However, that means all those voters that came out for Trump are NOT Republicans. They don't care about the Republican party. They only care about Trump. So when his orange ass is no longer on the ballot, things may return to 'normal' as far as polling, turnout, etc.

The polls were wrong, but just beating that MFer was a big friggin deal.

It’s also likely there was some shady chit going on.

We need a charismatic figure on our side running. Both Clinton and Biden are competent public servants, but they have no sizzle. Bill Clinton and Obama had sizzle. Reagan had sizzle. Kennedy had it in spades. Same with Eisenhower in a somewhat different way.

I would prefer that this individual actually know what they were doing, but that would be secondary it seems.

When we lost a bunch of Senate races we should've won like. But I do contend, these voters are Trumpers and don't care anything about Republicans in general. That's why we swept in 2018 as Trump wasn't on the ballot. I'm not as pessimistic about the future cause hamburgers and fried chicken will get the orange blob eventually.

When candidates try to imitate Trump's style or support his policies, they seem to lose.

Maybe that makes 2020 more of an intervention than an election.
