@ Supreme Court within past week? Heard him say Barrett had participated, and she did 'well,' as in, well-informed.
Wondering what the case was.

I thought it was interesting she was there.
trump trying to stop the votes by going to court is never a winning strategy, as courts do not like to stop the counting of votes.
trump will have to take every state to court, again doesn't look good
He suggested that trump could contest the late ballots
However
These ballots are the ballots the PA supreme court said they could come in as late as Friday. trump said no they had to come in yesterday and that was the theory 3 justices in Bush v Gore fought back in 2000, never before never since until last week when justice He then states how Brett bought that theory and 3 other justices wrote their opinion. That's only 4 votes there not 5. Barret is on the court and people think she is going to vote for him. Neal doesn't think that is true, 3 big problems even t=with the PA thing.
1. It's not clear the ballots will make much difference there may be other states that matter and even counting these ballots, that came in yesterday so that doesn't matter. That it would look bad if they change the rules after deciding to accept the ballots up until Friday especially after the election.
He mentioned how trump thinks that he can just waltz in and get their votes to hand him the election. .
He mentions how the supreme court doesn't like to be in the middle of this stuff. He has talked to a lot of his colleagues in the supreme court bar on the left and right today and he thinks nobody thinks this kind of technical thing is really going to have any kind of a chance for success, particularly when it would undo an election. Just a really really uphill battle.
Neal faced the new supreme court today and was asked if she was an acting participant in questioning. Neal said she was and she asked balanced questions on both sides. She's hit the ground running. It was his first argument in 42 without Justice Ginsberg. Neal thinks Amy handled herself really really well.
