Fox and CNN covered President Trump's falsehood-laden speech but MSNBC quickly drops coverage

President Donald Trump wrongly claimed victory in the presidential election in a Thursday speech filled with falsehoods, but not all news networks covered it.

CNN and Fox News carried Trump's speech from the White House, but MSNBC pulled away as the president conveyed grievances and falsehoods during his speech, in which he took no questions.

USA TODAY also made the decision to take down Trump's news conference after the president attacked, without evidence, the integrity and results of the election.

Trump opened his speech with a lie, wrongly referencing ballots counted after Tuesday, which have moved challenger Joe Biden close to victory, as illegal: "If you count the legal votes, I easily win. If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us."

An illegal vote in Trump's definition is any that were cast for Joe Biden.

Lester Holt said something to the effect of, "what the president just said isn't true, so we're going to stop airing it".

Only 3 years and 9 months too late, but I appreciate their sentiment!
