I take exception to the first image. Bees don't build actual hives like that.

I find beekeeping fascinating......I'd never do it but I love reading about them. Especially cool of the stories where they are called to come move a queen / hive from an inconvenient place

When a semi full of them tipped over. So many of the area's beekeepers went out to help collect them. I didn't have a suit or any experience with them at the time - and didn't even hear about it until my next class. I was so upset that it didn't happen when I had a house and hive boxes ready to go... I could have gotten myself some free bees.

And this is when I learned that the main money made by large beekeeping farms is by shipping them to the west coast so they can pollinate crops, specifically almond crops, and then having them shipped back. It's wild.
