the gop may yet lose the senate

besides the runoffs and the alaska seat, a Biden administration will comply with congress requests for documents. Some of these gop senators ( ron johnson for example) may run into trouble. Unlike a president, they have no immunity to prosecution.

1. Maybe that's a long shot, but it sure would be some wonderful, sweet icing

on a very tasty cake.

2. I can hardly wait to see who will be AG.

I'm sure that the staffing of the next admin is already well under way.

6. They don't lose their senate seat from prison, even if that could happen within 2 years.

And they wouldn't give it up if it meant flipping control.

Aside from the chance of pulling it out in Georgia (Alaska is possible in theory, but I'm not holding my breath), we're in good shape to have full control after 2022.

So these two years should be spent rebuilding the federal bureaucracy, investigating and exposing Republican crimes, and building the case of legislation to be passed in 2023.

Meanwhile, we need to restore election integrity where we can at the state level, and keep our enthusiasm up for future election.

We'll have to make the most of those second two years, so we need to prepare now.
