Here's the thing about a "deeply divided nation"

whenever we have seen this, one side is wrong. Not a little wrong, but completely wrong.
We were divided about slavery. We were divided about suffrage. We were divided about Civil Rights. We were divided about the Vietnam War. We were divided about the Iraq War. We are now divided over Trumpism.
But the progressive side has always been right and they have always been wrong.

Both sides are not always equally wrong, and there are not always good people on both sides.

and those who said no. Revolutionary War.

I agree, the progressives have been right. As challenging as it's been these last 4 years, I'm glad we're the United States, I'm grateful for Democracy, and I'm happy we aren't subjects of a King or Emperor no matter how much tRump wanted it.

His presidency was an epic fail except for those who managed to make money off it. The way things are going with Covid, I guess a lot of us older ones just feel lucky to have made it through alive.

We're alive and Democracy prevails.

"They have always been wrong."

So sick of hearing both-sides-ism. There are evil people in this country who've always been on the wrong side of compassion and justice and they've pass their sickness down thru generations. I broke the pattern in my family & so did my hubs.

Question everything.
