Is it SS, Medicare, the ACA, is it unemployment insurance? What? In socialist countries they have FREE healthcare, free higher education, some have free medical education, paid vacations for 4 weeks, paid family leave...we have none of that. So what the fuck are they talking about.

No success country has the means of production owned by the state. That’s socialism. What you are talking about is how far a nation should go to mitigating the excesses of capitalism. Every program you mentioned does that. Like you, I want much more mitigation.

But only capitalism has proven the ability to generate wealth. Also, unchecked, the ability to insure the capitalists have all the capital.
