Many Places Hard Hit By COVID-19 Leaned More Toward Trump In 2020 Than 2016

Support for President Trump increased in 2020 in many of the U.S. counties that lost lives at the highest rate to COVID-19, according to an NPR analysis.

Of the 100 counties with the highest COVID-19 death rates per capita, 68 had a higher proportion of votes cast for Trump this cycle than they did in 2016. This includes both Republican-leaning counties and counties that supported Joe Biden.

Those people can hold shit in one hand and Trump's promises for a vaccine in the other - and they both would stink

Dumbass defiant toddler people —> don’t wear masks or follow other recommendations -> more Covid deaths

These same people like Trump because they are similar to him.

They don’t care about anyone else so as long as the deaths aren’t in their family or friend group, and statistically, many haven’t yet had that experience.

So, where there are lots of deaths there are more Trump votes.

They got rid of some of those old people that Trumpsters considered a drag on the economy.

After all, they were probably sick and going to die soon anyway.

???

It's rationale that the GOP has used.

know someone who died so they can stay in denial. Maybe they know a couple of folks who have seemed to recover, adding to the ‘no big deal’ myth.

I feel sorry for them when they lose a loved one (I know, I know ... but I do) and wake up to the realization of the Trump miasa they’ve been living in.
