I've gotta give Joe Scarborough props for calling out all the network Decision Desks for not calling

Pennsylvania. He says the networks are doing it to not upset Dear Leader and it's unconscionable because it's fomenting unrest. He's right.

and was thinking how DU would forgive him for a while.

Good point about the focus on Florida on election night. With broader coverage it would not have seemed so iffy.

And the point about the legislatures in WI and MI trying to help Dotard. Making it appear unsettled would help his lawsuits, they might be thinking. And give an air of illegitimacy to a Biden election.

And the excuse it has to be beyond a recount trigger is no good. Recounts were held after states were called in 2016 and likely before.

Reputation? Fox is out there. They called ... either AZ or NV already. Every other network would like them to be wrong, and no one wants to be there with them. And all are content with Fox making the call so Trump sees it there first. Fox will take the hit that way.

It also sends a signal to the SC and other courts that the election is over. Trump will still file his lawsuits, but he has no evidence of fraud.

Nevada still sits at 93% counted, but Biden has the highest lead in that state. The others are at 96, 97, and 98 percent. Does it have to be at 100% now for networks to call a projected winner when in the past they’ve called races with far lower votes counted rates based on the trends. As throughout his presidency, media is giving an amazing amount of deference to a man whose every action is corrupt.

They dont want to call, then rescind anything. The fake news cry ringing in their ears. Thats gonna happen potentially with recounts.
It reminded just how far we've been dragged into the ditch.
Do you remember Jon Stewart saying every 4 years topics like gay marriage put forth ad nauseam, by the right woukd drag us over into/onto the shoulder?
The cry of fake news has become that. The networks know it. They're going to be some kind of battle cry for gop go, forward. They're babying everyone, now.

shocked so many did so after all the tragic, ill-fated, mean and plain stupid moves by Trumpy. Even in defeat, Joe will have a tough time trying, and likely failing, to unite our deeply divided country.

Good news? We can work said divisions to our favor. Just as the R-Scums worked hard to get Jill Stein, Kanye West and others to divide us, we can play the same game. Encourage Trumpers to form a third party, pay new candidates to form a third party under the guise of their rejection of both parties. Work hard to peel away rednecks in red states that live near the blue collar counties. TX needs more work while just keeping a presence in FL ( a loser for us for a long time to come) to keep them honest, as if they ever were! Work a lot harder to wrest control of state legislatures and governorships. We're way to weak here.

I could go on but......play their game and defeat more R-Scums in the 2022 election cycle.

As soon as Scarborough smelled blood in the water, he went back to bashing Democrats. I've watched dedicated news interviews and research on why this is taking so long: more mail in ballots than ever before due to pandemic, provisional ballots, it's not the same as 2016 and they know to be scrupulous. The whole world is waiting. The tRump lawsuits and challenges have slowed counting down at times, and hell he's too litigious anyway. If our soon to be President Elect Joe Biden can show patience and wait for due process, then I can too. My fireworks are ready.

Trump has on everything. We know the final vote totals for Trump in 16, but what were they at the time they called it? i guess we cant call an election for a democrat until any chance Trump has is down to zero. If Biden went up by a 100,000 and there were a 100,000 provisional ballots left we would have to wait and see if Trump got 100 percent of them. This is bordering on lunacy. Also Nevada needs to pick up the pace and PA has stick to schedules when they say ahead of time they are going to release vote numbers.

PA has until the 12th to count all ballots. Anything before that give those assholes ammuntion to challenge the result.

We are spoiled to immediate results. The point is to have no basis for refuting Biden's win.

We want Biden and his team to be getting on with plans and not have to work with legal stress.
