(8,059 posts)would be wasted in that position. I'd like to see him as Governor or Senator, but if that opportunity isn't available, maybe a Cabinet spot.

I would think UN Ambassador.
Chief of Staff will likely be Ron Klain. It needs to be someone who has played ball in Washington.

(1,204 posts)I'd like to see Pete, who has a knack for languages and appreciation for other cultures, to be Secretary of State and to start flying all over the world to begin the healing.
What does this do for Pete and Chasten's plans for having children? LOL

(32,777 posts)Don't forget that Biden and Obama go back a long way, there's a lot of trust built in. Obama can go out and win our friends back like nobody else can. It's his personality and his intelligence, and the European allies all love him.
Plus Pootie, Kim, MBS and the other bad guys hate Obama! This is just as important, because they know he has principles and he won't be BS'd by those guys, like Chump has been for the last 4 years. I don't know if Obama would accept the position, but if he did he'd be marvelous.
Pete Buttigieg should run for Governor of Indiana and fix things in that messed up state. In about 6 years he can think about running for President again. I love Pete and I think he's the future of our Party.

(2,406 posts)Buttigieg is great, with a bright future, but chief of staff requires somebody older with Washington experience.

He speaks several languages too.
