We seem to have entered a time when nothing really means anything

Election? Just a farce - trump wants to win, so he will claim he won and his party will support it.
COVID? hundreds of thousands of deaths, countless infections, but trump says it is a hoax, ignores it, party joins him. Screw us.
Natural disasters? Who cares.
Rule of law? paying taxes? for suckers only.

have we become north korea at some point over the last few weeks?

are we about to get endless videos of trump golfing forced into our teevees 24/7?

I know this is hyperbolic, but my brain simply is not making sense out of what we are witnessing.
It staggers the imagination of what additional damage and disbelief can occur in the coming 70 or so days.

Why are we bothering to stop at red lights? pay our taxes? apparently, everything is optional to the cult - it is simply what THEY want, when they want it.

This has to be the largest widespread tantrum in the history of humanity.

Trump and the GOP have been following the fascist playbook for years. This is not a tantrum. Karadeniz Nov 2020 #2

But we didn't quite see it. Biden won, but it wasn't the landslide we expected. Maybe we let our expectation go too high and we get the narrative right now. I don't think republicans will abandon their behaviors. Matter of fact, they are encouraged to do worst.
