He couldn’t even normalize a visit to Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day. Couldn’t even pretend that the sacrifices of everyone buried there mattered. Couldn’t even pick up his pace so he’d be on time to lead our country’s observance. Doing the right and proper thing never, ever tops Trump’s agenda.
