It's all about Georgia
This "coup" that's being enabled by Republican members of congress... it's about Georgia. It's about control of the Senate, which they are trying to cling onto by a pinky toe.
It's about keeping the Trump supporting base riled up and feeling cheated so they can motivate these people to come out for the runoffs.
These people know Joe Biden won and are probably happy that they won't be dealing with Trump's impulsiveness. They don't have to pretend they didn't see Trump's crazy tweets. They don't have to act like Trump didn't mean what he said.
Senate Republicans and Republican House members know full well that Joe Biden has won this election but they need to keep their base on edge and feeling cheated until January 5th.
