In addition to your characterization, here are a couple more.

To be a Republican congressperson, you have to be ignorant, uneducated and bigoted.

To be a Republican congressperson, you have to claim to believe in the Bible but not live the teachings of Jesus.

To be a Republican congressperson, you have to hold anti-American beliefs while calling yourself a patriot.

Gosh, we could do this all day!
