Pretty sure that excludes them from a lot of the protections afforded to employees who try to unionize.

And one of the saddest.
Of course, imagine what would happen to the WWE's bottom line if they had to pay worker's comp premiums. Their whole business model would have to change.

I believe they won't perform in Madison Square Garden anymore partly because of having to deal with the unions.
