I have to be honest

I hope I do offend anyone.I am just trying to express how I feel here? I honestly think Russia got into our machine tally's. I do not think they just got into the machine to look around because noway would Trump be acting a fool over the mail in ballots if for any other reason than Putin fixed the votes to give congress and the senate all those wins.I am not a conspiracies, I am just basing it on in my mind what it looks like. Remember when Trump kept saying they were going to win.

Remember when he said if they went to mail in votes, Republicans would never win again. I also remember when they went to Russia the 4th of July.I am just saying something smells fishy here. The Republicans refuse to let him concede because he backed them to get Putin help to keep them in power. Putin has not said anything except the votes are not in or something. There is noway Trump won all those votes either. Putin could not stop all the mail in votes his puppet tried to stop making Biden the victor and rightly so. But I think the polls were not wrong.I am not discrediting Trump has many fans, I am just saying the fix was in when they broke into the voting machines in October and did more.

It was the mail in votes that did it. Now we have a chance if we get the senate to fix this and never let the US go to anything but Ballots and do away with the machines for good. This is safe for fairness and for our democracy. I think it adds up with how the Republicans are acting and has been since 2016. I do not know how they took their eyes off 2018,but they did by mistake and had no other choice except to fix it in 2020.I will go to my grave thinking this in my heart. Have all mail in ballots and end this con and go back to fair elections. Noway should people be in long lines and flushing ballots and closing polling places and all the cheating.i hope the Dem go as hard as they do.They are even now still trying to disqualify Biden and none of the Republicans is stopping it because they feel it will give them up by Trump. They have to please him or their goose is cooked,It has nothing to do with catering them in heart, it is fear he will expose them if he does not get his way,

I have been out of school for years and chemo has done a lot to my brain as well as I was never good in writing complete sentences ect. Sorry to offend you with my ignorance. Thank you for sharing-even if I don't understand. It's all good.

My wife went through a cruel round of it the first time she had cancer. She had had it twice so far.

But it you go over your grammar before posting, it will help people to understand your posts better.

You don't seem ignorant at all, just a little careless with your writing. Just go over it once or twice before posting. No one here can say they have ever posted without making a grammatical mistake. And some of the errors you had in your OP were typical of those of a Russian language native. We get them here with some frequency. My apologies if you are not.

one suggestion; try paragraphs next time. It breaks up text to make it easier to read. Thanks for your post.

And it is being used to undermine confidence in our electoral system which seemed fair to me, in 2020. In 16, I wondered about good old fashioned ballot stuffing in the rural areas of PA...thinking no one could get the margins Trump was getting but when I saw the margins this year, I no longer feel this way. We really need to cut into the lead the Republicans have in such areas. In any case, I believe mail in voting is the answer and hope it will continue to be used in all states.

Colluded with Putin in 2016. Why not now? Please don't be hurt by the replies that concentrate on your words rather than your message. I had no problem following your words! This place isn't about language skills, it's about caring for one another and the truth. As a Latin and English teacher, if I don't care about linguistic perfection, why would anyone else?

Please don't stop sharing your thoughts with us!

I've learned there are some areas where most people are incredibly ignorant, I don't let an ignorant person's bad reaction to knowledge keep me quiet... Don't you, either! I was glad to read the other replies by people who are also leery of voting machines. The fear you addressed were shared by others!

I do NOT trust voting machines.

Too easily hacked.

Proprietary software.

Cellphone modems in some of them

No printer for hard copy backup
......... Too expensive? BS on that!

PAPER ballots all the way!

...at an election in Florida, I saw a DRE flipping votes. When you put in a vote for the Democratic candidate, and checked the review screen, it switched to the GOP. It happened over and over. It was not a calibration issue on the screen.

I called the ES, and demanded the machine be impounded. They took it out of service and had me escorted out of the area because I continued complaining...but they simply rebooted the DRE and put it back in service.

I have also seen analyses of undervotes and split voting and voting by method (DRE, mail, etc.) in Florida for specific precincts that simply doesn't make sense - unless you had some kind of manipulation.

It seems obvious that manipulation could occur in some machines or precincts with enough precision to swing elections, and still be almost impossible to detect. Exactly what one would predict in MF45s win in 2016. Here in Florida, we've become accustomed to narrow wins by GOP officials at all levels, while ballot referendums and amendments constantly go to the Democrats. Sometimes there are crazy undervote counts, and just barely enough votes for the GOP to carry the race.

My only conclusion is that sometimes and in some places the DREs or tabulators are hacked. The only solution that I can imagine is to use paper ballots that can be recounted.
