Last chance for Republicans

This is their last chance to break off their toxic relationship with Donald Trump. They are operating under the illusion that they can still win with Trump campaigning for them from the sidelines.

First of all, Trump does not campaign for Republicans, Trump campaigns for Trump. They should understand that by now.

Their best strategy is to take their wins up to this point and dump Trump. Eventually the Trump veneer will wear off. They will be left with nothing but the baggage.

What happens when he is indicted? Are they going to be character witnesses? He has used them just like he has used FOX News. They know in their hearts that there is no future with Donald Trump.

I can say this, because I know they will not listen.

They have a chance to rid themselves of the psychopath, without suffering catastrophic consequences. If they continue to cling to Trump, it will not end well for them.

Epstein and Pecker’s safe contents too. Those ended up in Barr’s hands. And, then there’s all the dirt all the other countries have on each other.

with all the R congressmen in attendance (don't remember the occasion, maybe passing the tax bill?), but at one point, Trump was at the podium, pointed out to everyone standing out front, and in a gleeful, rather sardonic way, said "I know things about all these people."

To me that's the only thing that makes sense. Also, I'd think that he has some kind of proof of criminal activity. I'm looking forward to who the Attorney General will be in The Biden Administration.

only vote GOP because of Trump. If they stick the knife into Trump, they stick it into themselves.

They will no doubt hope the democrats take trump down, so they're seen to have.....ahem, clean hands.

7. The Party of Lincoln is now the Party of Cranks.

They groomed and enlisted a voting bloc made up of people who don't recognize reality, which turns out to be a huge number of voters.

The intent was to exploit these voters to win elections for their Wall Street candidates, who would protect the interests of what are basically American oligarchs.

Now the number of cranks dwarf the "business" portion of the Party.

The cranks themselves are winning elections, and they are taking more and more power inside the Party itself.

The GOP cannot afford to lose these voters: they are now the Party base. The strategists have painted themselves into a corner.
