MSNBC: Trump allies preparing to end fight when Electoral College meets in December

I'm confused; don't they know that Trump and the Supreme Court will steal the Presidency? That it's all hopeless for Biden? (at least that's what I read here...)

in the election of the President. The Electoral College votes and that's the end of it, unless there's a tie. There won't be a tie, so where does the Court come in? Any decision the Court might make here is void as far as I'm concerned.

On January 6, electoral votes are reviewed and counted by Congress. Any deemed unlawfully cast are subject to objection. An objection must be joined by at least one member of the House and one member of the Senate. When an objection is raised, Congress must immediately convene a joint session to debate and vote on whether or not to count the votes.

As Bryer pointed out in his dissent to Bush v. Gore, SCOTUS's decision carried NO weight. The judge of the legitimacy of a state election, and of the electors appointed pursuant to it, is Congress..

On January 6th, 2001, Democrats sat on their hands as the Congressional Black Caucus and their allies in the House pleaded for a Senator to stand up and join them in objecting to the unlawfully appointed Florida electors. The excuses for refusing to object were indefensible. Irrational fear of being called "sore losers" or appearing "unstatesman-like" was put ahead of their duty to defend the nation against TRULY unlawful electors appointed pursuant to an incomplete, and therefore unlawful, election. SCOTUS itself rendered the election unlawful when they stopped the count.

I have no doubt that on January 6th, 2021 Republicans will fight to the bitter end to toss out legitimate electors based on proven lies.

It pisses me off. Over and over so-called Democratic "leaders" refuse to fight for what's right on solid moral principle, while the Republicans fight tooth and nail for lies.

Biden’s win was too decisive. The one said they have to be very careful not to over step the law because a new DA would be coming in. Maybe Trump is beginning to realize just how bad he looks. That has to hurt his ago.

Will that demoralize Trump's base, and cause them to stay home? I assume that he'll try to rally them, and probably hit about a run in 2024, but I'm not sure that will work.

Steve Bannon and Rudy the Goof need to be prosecuted for Voter Disfranchisement and attempted voter fraud.

Feck off, all of 'em.

Also, how you manage to turn even this into an attack on DUers is truly magnificent, I have to say.
