Regarding Parler.

When my Social Security Number was compromised, someone set up an account on the Social Security Administration's website and changed my address to somewhere in California. I got a letter about setting up the account, or changing the address, which I had not done. When I went to get the matter resolved I was told the next thing in the nefarious plan would have been to redirect my direct deposit to a bank in California.

Just a words for the wise for any Parler folks lurking hereabouts.

Explanation of edits. I began to wonder about the efficacy of the words "heaven forfend" and was told I was naughty.

The last 4 here, the first 3 there and all the little quizzes (the month you were born, the day you were born, the hit song the year you were born, etc) on fb and they have a very full picture of everyone they want.

9. SS Has Gotten Really Strict About Sending You a Code to Your Cell or Email Before You Can Log On

They do that step every single time I believe. At least they did for me on the 10 or so log ins I did while I was signing up for SS and Medicare. A thief would have to have access to your phone or email to get into your account.
