I was able to open up the Georgia case immediately.

Haven't figure out how to open the Michigan case.

Oh, I'm going to read it right now!

EDIT: Oh shit, it's 104 pages!

EDIT: Okay, this is barely literate. There are incomplete sentences, abuses of the comma, and magically appearing quotations marks without a partner, so it's not even clear what belongs in quotes and what doesn't.

This is hideously subpar. I can't imagine a judge getting much beyond page 4.

Absolute amateur-hour stuff.

Multiple spellings of what is supposed to be the same name, missing spaces so thatalotofstuffisallruntogether.

They put zero effort into every part of this.

...click on the one that says "Main Document."

The Georgia case doesn't explain a few things, chief among them being why a Trump supporter like Brian Kemp and his equally Trump-loving team would work as hard as they claim he did to put a Democrat in the White House.

Interesting yes, convincing, no. It sounds like the rantings of a "foreign affairs expert" that you might meet in a cheap bar. The same 45 year old Guy who was also a Green Beret in WWII.....

It was called OSS (Office of Special Services) back then. OSS did the same work Army Special Forces does now. I haven't seen any of them in a while and I assume they've all passed away, but there were snake-eaters in the Great War.

It was not long ago, I saw a panhandler at a corner, who was about that age, that had a sign claiming to be a WWII vet. Had I been a little younger, I may have offered him a history lesson. Taught to the tune of a hickory switch.

World War II didn't actually end in Europe until October 3, 1990 - the date of German reunification. This is why an Army of Occupation Medal (which you received for one month's service in Berlin) will get you into the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

I could claim to be a Korean war veteran as it has never officially ended when I served beginning in 1970. I don't, because I was not.

I was serving while we were still fighting in Vietnam, but since I wasn't there I certainly don't claim to be a Vietnam Vet either.

I think that you understand what I was saying in my post, I don't understand the point of your argument. I was talking about "pretenders." If you are a vet, you will understand the contextual meaning of that term.

My military service:

US Army 1982-1994

311th MI Battalion, 101st Airborne, Ft. Campbell, KY, from 1982 to 1984. Battalion commander was "Cactus Jack" McGuinness. (A long time ago I read a story about drill sergeants in which one of them said, "a soldier will never remember his first battalion commander, but he will remember his drill sergeant." To which I say, "you never had the privilege of working for Jack McGuinness." This fucking guy so loved his troops he led every battalion run - we had one every two weeks, per division regulation - even though he had a permanent no-running profile. General Bagnal had to threaten to throw him out of the Army to get him to stop, and when he finally did, he changed his ways just slightly: he had a folding chair in the back of his car. When the battalion marched out to the street to begin the run he would stand there and salute the troops as we went out, and he'd applaud as we came back in. If Jack McGuinness would have gone in front of the battalion and said, "I'm going to Hell tonight, who wants to come with me?" we all would have. They don't let people like this be officers in the Army anymore, and it's too damn bad that they don't.)

209th MI Company, 524th MI Battalion, 501st MI Group, Korea, from 1984 to 1985. 524th MI Battalion commander was Charles Narburgh; Group Commander was COL Paul Menoher (who retired as a LTG - super nice guy)

163rd MI Battalion, 504th MI Brigade, Fort Hood, TX, in 1985. I have erased as much of the memory of that shithole as I could, so I couldn't tell you who the BN or BDE commanders were with a gun to my head.

Went back to school to get a new MOS.

Operations Battalion, US Army Field Station Berlin, from 1986 to 1992. We had three field station commanders and two battalion commanders in that time. The last battalion commander was LTC John Burns, and the last station commander was COL Carol Hemphill. Both were excellent people. LTC Burns was about 6'6" and weighed about 150 pounds soaking wet. COL Hemphill started life as a naive WAC officer.

110th MI Battalion, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, NY, from 1992 to 1994. Battalion commander was LTC Robert Kuth. He was all right, I guess, but he did a lot better in staff assignments than troop units. (In 10th Mountain, we had two MI lieutenant colonels, the G-2 and the MI battalion commander. When the current MI battalion commander got promoted or retired, they moved the G-2 over to the 110th and brought in a new G-2 from off post. Kuth was a good G-2. He had a bit of a problem trusting his NCOs, though.

not when they were reunited. The zones of occupation were all under the control of the Allies.

Medals with out-of-date names do not constitute a "war".

Are likely to face any disciplinary actions.

Of course, since they are right wingnut heroes, they will be able to do the slip and fall, no-fault divorce, and mobile home repossession cases for Trump supporters for the rest of their lives. On a national scale, infamy is good advertising.

And a number of those presiding judges are Republican.

As for SCOTUS, we shouldn't forget that Roberts was selected by Bush, who has no love for Trump, and Bush heavily lobbied for Kavanugh when he was picked by Trump for SCOTUS.

Barrett herself worked for Bush along with Kavanaugh and Roberts.

The Pennsylvania case that was struck down so hard they sent Trump a bill for costs of court was decided by a Trump appointee. Even the judges Trump thought were going to be his stooges are coming out against him.
