a stimulus /vaccine idea

i first heard about this on CNBC this morning.

send out 1500 stimulus checks to everyone. however make the checks dependent on getting teh covid vaccine

heres my refinement

step 1. send out 1500 to every american regardless on income
step 2 require every recipient to get the covid vaccing either by the end of summer or whenever they are widly available
if someone has a legitimate medical reason the dont have to get teh vaccine.
if not then any future goverment payment whether from tax refunds, social security checks, whatever gets reduced by the 1500

you only get teh money if your willing to take an affirmative step to reduce the pandemic

3. You can't force desperate people to take a vaccine because they need help.

Trumps government isn't even willing to take steps to reduce the pandemic.

if you dont want to take an approved vaccine you are a danger to the community. yu should get no help from the government.

if it was up to me those unwilling to wear masks shouldnt even be eligible for hospital care if they catch covid. it might sound heartless but i no longer give a damn

8. If you won't give them a stimulus like other get you are forcing them to get vaccinated, a vaccine

that many people don't trust. People don't wear masks and that more of a danger to the community now than anything else. But that sure as fuck isn't enforced. People ignore all the restrictions and half the time those aren't enforced. What about business? What are you going to force them to do for their stimulus? What are you going to force the wealthy to do for their tax breaks in the next stimulus? Nothing right? I give a damn, but I give a damn about the right things. We older retired people have not taken a hit like many working people have. I give a damn about them and forcing them to be vaccinated in order to be helped out with money that they need to survive is the most Republican thing I have ever heard of.

how is your bank going to know whether or not you got the vaccine?

More to the point, the stimulus checks should not depend on getting the vaccine. That's a truly dumb suggestion.

Or, if that were somehow to be implemented, there would be a huge black marked in fake virus certificates.
