affirmance is.

is a way of affirming a lower court decision without hearing further argument. In other words, the plaintiffs case is so bad and witness/expert testimony so ineffective that the higher court shouldnt waste any more time on the case. Basically, its saying you are clearly going to affirm the lower courts decision so lets get on with it.
